Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Altamens ("we", "us") provides dual-task cognitive training games on the web and through our mobile apps. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and the choices you have. It applies to the Altamens website and the Altamens mobile applications.

2. Information we collect

• Account information. You can play without creating an account; in that case we assign your device an anonymous identifier. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name, email address and profile photo from that provider.
• Gameplay data. Scores, personal bests, streaks, test results and related progress. Most of this is stored locally on your device; scores you submit to leaderboards are stored on our servers together with your display name.
• Profile details you choose to add. An optional display name, full name and age. Your age is used only to compare against your Brain Age score and is never shown publicly.
• Purchase information. If you subscribe to Altamens Pro, payments are processed by our payment partners (RevenueCat and Stripe on the web, or the app store you purchased through). We receive subscription status and transaction metadata, never your full card details.
• Usage and device data. We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the app is used (e.g. pages visited, approximate location derived from IP, device type). This helps us improve the games.

3. How we use your information

• To operate the games, save your progress and run leaderboards.
• To sync your account and subscription across devices.
• To process payments and manage your subscription.
• To understand usage and improve the product.
• To respond to support requests.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

4. Where your data lives

Account data and leaderboard scores are stored with Google Firebase (Firestore and Firebase Authentication). Subscription data is managed by RevenueCat, with payments handled by Stripe or your app store. Gameplay statistics are primarily stored locally on your device and may be lost if you clear your browser data or uninstall the app without signing in.

5. Sharing

We share data only with the service providers needed to run Altamens:

• Google Firebase (authentication, database, analytics)
• RevenueCat (subscription management)
• Stripe, Apple App Store, Google Play (payment processing)

Your display name and scores are visible to other players on leaderboards. We may disclose information if required by law.

6. Data retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete local data by clearing your browser storage or uninstalling the app. To delete your account and server-side data (including leaderboard entries), use our account deletion page or contact us at support@altamens.com and we will remove it within 30 days.

7. Children

Altamens is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Security

Data in transit is encrypted with TLS. Access to server-side data is restricted by authentication and security rules. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard practices.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live (e.g. EU/EEA under GDPR, or California under CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email support@altamens.com.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version here and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes will be highlighted in the app where practical.
